Understanding NFTs and NFT Collections

NFTs are digital assets that represent ownership or proof of authenticity of a unique item or piece of content, such as artwork, music, videos, or virtual real estate, on the blockchain. NFTs have unique attributes and properties which makes them non-interchangeable with other tokens of the same type.

NFT Collections are curated sets of NFTs, allowing creators to organize and showcase their digital assets under a unified theme or category. Whether it's a series of artwork, collectibles, or digital merchandise, NFT Collections provide a cohesive experience for both creators and collectors.

How to Create an NFT Collection on Cashtab Wallet

Step #1: Open your Cashtab Wallet and navigate to the eTokens screen.

Step #2: Click on the "Create NFT Collection" button and fill out the required information in the form provided. Choose a name and description for your NFT Collection, and optionally, upload an image to represent it. Once done, click "Create" to finalize the creation process.

Note: The image file format must be jpg/png.

How to Mint NFTs in Your Collection

Step #1: Once your NFT Collection is created, navigate to the eToken screen within Cashtab Wallet and click on your NFT Collection.

Step #2: To mint NFTs within your collection, toggle on the "Create NFT Mint Inputs" switch. Then, click on the "Create NFT Mint Inputs" button to proceed.

Step #3: With the NFT Mint Inputs created, toggle on the "Mint NFT" switch and fill out the form with the necessary details for each NFT you wish to mint. This includes specifying the name, ticker, website, and image/document hash. Finally, click "Mint NFT" to complete the minting process.

How to Send NFTs

Step #1: Navigate to the eTokens screen in your Cashtab wallet.

Step #2: Click on your desired NFT and toggle on the "Send" button.

Step #3: Enter the recipient's eCash address and hit the "Send NFT" button.
