A black policy was added to allocate 10% of the Coinbase reward as a staking reward for Avalanche stakers. The introduction of staking rewards in the eCash Nov 15th network upgrade this year is a significant advancement. This novel approach sets eCash apart as a leading Bitcoin fork that includes staking rewards, a feature that significantly boosts the network’s security and efficiency.

✅ Miner Fund Increase 👨🏻‍💻

The miner fund, part of the block reward that is funding eCash network development, increased from 8% of the block reward to 32%.
